Lexus confirms a Sydney motor show local debut for its all-new LX570 luxury SUV8 Jun 2007 By CHRIS HARRIS LEXUS will show its LX570 luxury SUV at the Australian International Motor Show in October, ahead of its debut Down Under in the first quarter of 2008. Based on the soon-to-be-revealed LandCruiser 200-Series, the MkIII LX will employ a 283kW 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine that combines with a new six-speed automatic transmission. Other new items will include "crawl control" and additional airbags (for a total of 10), the latter including twin front knee airbags.
